Objective and Benefits of the Scheme: ★To increase farmers’ income, under the scheme, an annual amount of ₹6,000 is provided to farmer families through Direct Benefit Transfer (D.B.T). This amount is given in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each at intervals of four months. ★To avail the benefits of the scheme, the farmer registers on the portal, and after verification, if the farmer is found eligible, the benefit is directly credited to their account. Eligibility under the scheme: All farmers except those falling under the following categories will be eligible under the scheme – a) Former or current holders of constitutional positions. b) Former or current ministers/state ministers, or former or current members of Lok Sabha/ Rajya Sabha/ State Legislative Assembly/ State Legislative Council, or former or current Mayor of Municipal Corporation, or former or current District Panchayat President.

a- Officers and employees of the central and state government offices/departments, government-aided institutions, and all offices/autonomous institutions and local bodies affiliated with the government, excluding regular staff in Group ‘D’/fourth category employees.

b- Those receiving a monthly pension of more than Rs. 10,000.00 (excluding pensioners retired from Group ‘D’/fourth category).

c- Professional doctors, engineers, lawyers, chartered accountants, architects, etc., who are registered with the institution related to their profession and are practicing in their respective profession.

d- Farmers who acquired agricultural land by means other than inheritance after 01 February 2019.

e- Farmers who fall under the income tax category.

f- Farmers whose family, including husband, wife, and minor children, are benefiting from the scheme of any other member.
