Plan for promoting organic farming in Uttar Pradesh

In Uttar Pradesh, a scheme to promote organic farming is being implemented. Under this scheme, farmers are provided a grant of Rs. 4800 per acre in the first year, Rs. 4000 per acre in the second year, and Rs. 3600 per acre in the third year, totaling Rs. 12,400 per acre over three years. This scheme is being carried out in 1,200 clusters across 52 districts of the state.
