Grant for marriage of poor daughter of minority
Under this scheme run by the Minority Welfare Department, the applicant’s annual income should not be more than Rs. 46080.00 in rural area and Rs. 56460.00 in urban area.The age of daughter should be minimum 18 years and 21 years in case of bridegroom, in case of being eligible there is a provision to pay Rs. 20000/- (rupees twenty thousand).
Eligibility
Income certificate will not be required for applicants who are receiving old age pension, widow pension and disability pension.
It is mandatory for applicants to enter the serial number of on-line caste certificates issued by Tehsil.
Preference will be given to destitute woman after the death of her husband or disabled applicant.
Grant for marriage of maximum two daughters from a family will be permissible.
Under the grant for marriage, it is mandatory for the applicant to apply online for 90 days before or 90 days after the date of marriage.
The beneficiary’s bank account will be opened in State Bank of India, Nationalized Banks or banks authorized by Reserve Bank of India Under Banking System and IFSC code is allotted and registered at PFMS so that Direct funds can be transferred in accounts through e-Payment.
