Under the National Agriculture Development Scheme, for rainwater harvesting through field ponds:
 Under the scheme, the size of a small pond is 22 x 20 x 3 meters per pond, with a cost of ₹1,05,000.00 and a subsidy of ₹52,500.00 per pond.
 The subsidy is paid to the beneficiary farmers’ accounts through DBT in 2 installments (75 percent and 25 percent), and one small pond irrigates 1.0 hectare of crops. All ponds have been geo-tagged.
