Schemes Run by the Department of Cooperation

Fertilizer Distribution: Subsidized fertilizers such as urea and phosphatic, etc., are provided to farmers by the Cooperative Department.

Loan Distribution: Through the District Cooperative Bank Committee, members are provided crop loans at an annual rate of 3 percent by the committees under the Cooperation Department. In addition, the department also provides loans to farmers for animal husbandry and various other businesses.
