Rainfed Area Development (RAD)

Rainfed Area Development (RAD) aims to adopt an appropriate farm methodology system (including horticulture, livestock, fisheries, agriculture, forestry, beekeeping, etc.) to ensure sustainable increase in agricultural productivity in rainfed areas.
 Integrated Farming System (IFS) is being provided a grant of Rs. 30,000 per farmer family for livestock-based (small animals/birds), dairy-based, horticulture-based, poultry, and forestry-based farming.
 Training: A grant of Rs. 10,000 per cluster is provided for training.
